The Beginning

So, I decided to go into tech but there are so many choices to choose from. BUT WAIT! Let's dive back down a little bit shall we?

Alright! While I was still in secondary school I have always wanted to be an Engineer but I didn't know for sure what kind of engineer I would love to be. Well, I didn't worry much till I got to my final class then I started panicking due to the fact that we would have to select the subjects that we would continue with, this was so much for me, not all engineering courses have the same subjects then what did I do? I googled yes, we all go to Google search our problems and the solution we needed. I started with "which Engineer is the highest paid" Yeah! Yeah! I know! I was supposed to pick from what I have interest in though but we all want to make money right? Yes we do. The top result was petrochemical Engineering so I opted in for it. Whenever I was asked what I would love to be I would say a petrochemical Engineer and I would feel happy about myself. But on a faithful holiday I saw a video of a guy that said he makes about $250,000 as a software engineer per year, oh my God! He's rich! I taught to myself.

There and then did I begin my research on software engineering but this field was really wide, I started getting confused because I started seeing things like data science, cloud computing, Devops, web development. Are they related to software engineering? I asked Google of course not myself. But I came across Alx Se which is a program that teaches people software engineering, then I just said to myself, well! I'm going in , I applied and in a week I started learning C programming language.
